Here at LiteralMayhem, we believe that doing violence to language does violence to our world.

We’re fascinated with the way words–in particular stories and narrative–shape our views, our choices, and thus, the world we create. Corruption of language and narrative flows through to the corruption of ideas, choices and outcomes–and some very bad behavior indeed.

In that vein, we offer a cheerfully cynical take on the worst offenses of the day. Investigating their broad impacts on society as well as their narrow impacts on our daily lives.
